A decade in cask reveals a velvety Panamanian rum layered with vanilla, butterscotch and warm oak. Distilled by Varela Hermanos in 2013 and aged in American oak, it opens with vanilla, wild honey and toasted oak, moves to butterscotch, dried fruit and gentle spice, and finishes long, velvety and quietly warming.
